We decided to get some chickens… I had already poured a concrete slab on the side of the garage for a chicken coop, so that’s where it will go. Janick found a amazing artist on Facebook that builds beautiful cedar chicken coops for half the price it would cost us to make one … we gave Laurent at LM Bois Déco a call, and off he went to build this beautiful chicken coop. I drove over 4 hours and back for that chicken coop, it was well worth it.
Here is the Coop after I stained / painted it and installed shingles, i also ran some electrical wiring for a heating lamp and of course, a camera to check on the girls.
We moved the Coop outside and have our first tenant, Chloe affectionately named her “PouPou” !
We have our first Egg !!! …. mmmmmm delicious !!!
Added two new chickens to the coop … Chloé calls all of the chickens “Les Poupou’s”.
